The Juniper Networks WLA Series Wireless LAN Access Points provide client access, spectrum analysis; bridging and wireless mesh services for indoor and outdoor deployments of enterprise wireless LANs.
The WLA Wireless LAN Access Points are listed below:
The WLA321 is an 802.11n, single radio, 2×2 MIMO, 2 spatial stream indoor wireless LAN access point with internal antennas. It provides link speeds of up to 300 Mbps and delivers up to 6x better performance than 802.11a/g access points. The WLA321 is for low-density environments, and provides reliable service with concurrent spectrum analysis and robust deployment around known interference sources.
The WLA322 802.11n indoor wireless access point combines dual radios with 2×2 MIMO, 2 spatial streams, and internal antennas. It provides link speeds of up to 300 Mbps and delivers up to 6x better performance than 802.11a/g access points. The includes energy-efficient 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) in its 1GbE uplink port and local switching delivers low latency and advanced VLAN tunneling. Dual radios allow concurrent 2.4 and 5.5 Ghz WLAN service.
The WLA522 is a dual-radio, 2×2 MIMO, 802.11n, indoor wireless access point is for high-density enterprise installations requiring maximum capacity. It optimizes traffic flow, reduces latency, and can be a high-speed mesh access point, mesh portal, or wireless distribution system (WDS) bridge to extend WLAN coverage.
Each of its two radios (2.4/5.5 GHz) supports two transmits chains and two receive chains. These four built-in antennas create omnidirectional coverage. A 1GbE port with auto-negotiation mode is compatible with 802.3af and 802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE) infrastructure.
The WLA532 delivers great user experience and lower operating and capital costs by tightly integrating security, performance, and manageability with great reliability. Its energy-efficient 802.3af PoE power design, dual radios, 3×3 MIMO, 3 stream, and 1GbE uplink port, are packaged in the smallest footprint in its class. And its six internal cross-polarized antennas use 5 degree down-tilt to deliver maximum signal strength. The WLA532E external antenna plenum rated model allows for more deployment flexibility.
The WLA632 is a dual-radio, 3×3 MIMO wireless access point ruggedized for all weather outdoor deployment. It enables users to stay seamlessly connected as they roam between buildings, and provides mesh services that extend wireless access where cabling is not available. Its dual-radio 3×3 MIMO configuration delivers data rates of up to 600 Mbps, and 10/100/1000 Ethernet connectivity is available. The WLA632 helps detects 802.11 bands, channels, and VLANs. WLA632 includes SentryScan, enabling it to act as a dedicated sentry and provide nonstop scanning.
